This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the EDU Access app — your personal EDU platform for People of Determination. By using the app, you agree to the practices described below.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, phone number, and user ID on the EDU educational platform (when signed in).
  • Adaptation profile: selected disability profile and accessibility settings (font size, TTS, quiet mode, etc.).
  • Learning data: enrolled courses, lesson progress, quiz results, and issued certificates.
  • Certificate requests: name, contact details, and delivery method when requesting certificate issuance.
  • Profile photo: if you upload a photo from “My profile”.
  • Technical data: device and browser type to improve security, performance, and PWA operation.

3. How we use your data

  • Personalize the interface and content based on your profile.
  • Save course progress and issue and verify certificates.
  • Process certificate issuance requests by administration.
  • Send in-app learning notifications (reminders, course completion, etc.).
  • Improve user experience and platform security.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. It may be shared with the EDU admin team within the educational ecosystem, technical hosting providers, or official authorities when legally required. Learning data is linked to your account on the EDU educational platform when signed in.

5. Storage & security

We retain your data while you use the service and for legally required periods. We apply appropriate security measures to protect data from unauthorized access. Some settings are stored locally on your device to speed up loading (PWA).

6. Your rights

  • View and update your name and photo from “My profile”.
  • Change adaptation settings at any time.
  • Request deletion or correction of data through official platform support.
  • Clear local browser data from your device settings.

7. Guests without an account

You can explore the platform as a guest. Your adaptation profile and settings are stored with a session or guest token on this device. For full sync across devices, sign in with your EDU educational platform account.
